Privacy Policy

Dezyn is a planning tool for clothing brand founders. This page explains, in plain language, what information Dezyn keeps about you, why, and who else touches it. If anything here is unclear, email support@dezynhq.com.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address, name, and sign-in details, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk. If you sign in with Google or another provider, we receive the basic profile details that provider shares.
• What you put into Dezyn. Your brands, brand bible, products, tech packs, manufacturer notes, mood boards, budgets, and Brand Guide conversations.
• Images you upload. Logos, mood board images, product photos, and anything you attach in the Brand Guide.
• Billing. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. Dezyn never sees or stores your full card number. We keep your plan, a Stripe customer ID, and when your billing period ends.
• Feedback. When you send feedback, we keep the message along with your email, the page you were on, and your browser type, so we can follow up and reproduce the problem.
• Usage counts. We count how many Brand Guide messages, factory searches, uploads, and image analyses each account uses, so that plan limits work and the service is not abused.
• Visitor statistics. Anonymous counts of which pages are visited, where visitors came from, and what kind of device they used, so we can see what is working.

How we use it

We use your information to run Dezyn for you: to save your work, to sign you in, to give the Brand Guide the context of your own brand, to bill your subscription, and to answer you when you get in touch. We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not run ad trackers on Dezyn.

Who else handles your data

Dezyn relies on a small number of providers, each only for its part of the job:

• Clerk manages accounts and sign-in.
• MongoDB Atlas stores your Dezyn data.
• Cloudinary stores and serves the images you upload.
• Stripe processes payments and manages subscriptions.
• Vercel hosts the website and provides privacy-friendly visitor statistics, such as page views, referring sites, country, and device type. These statistics do not use cookies and are not tied to your account.
• Anthropic provides the AI behind the Brand Guide and the Brand Analyzer. When you use either, your message, any attached images, and a summary of the brand you have selected are sent to Anthropic to produce the answer. The Brand Guide may also run web searches to answer questions about current events.
• Apify runs factory searches. Only the search terms (for example "heavyweight hoodie") are sent, not your brand data.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect Dezyn and its users from fraud or abuse.

Images and links

Uploaded images are stored at web addresses that are hard to guess but are not password protected. Anyone you share an image link with can open it. Do not upload anything you would not be comfortable having behind a private link.

Cookies and local storage

Dezyn uses the cookies Clerk needs to keep you signed in. Your browser also keeps a few small preferences locally, such as which brand you last opened and which intro tips you have dismissed. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. Deleting a brand deletes its products and manufacturer records with it. If you ask us to close your account, we delete your account and your Dezyn data within 30 days. Copies may remain in routine backups for a short time after that, and Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.

Your choices

You can view, edit, and delete most of what you have entered directly in the app. To get a copy of your data, correct something you cannot edit yourself, or delete your account entirely, email support@dezynhq.com from the address on your account. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy laws, and we will honor them.

Security

Your workspace is only visible to your account. Connections are encrypted, payment details stay with Stripe, and access to paid features and AI tools is checked on our servers. No service can promise perfect security, so if you believe you have found a problem, please tell us at support@dezynhq.com.

Children

Dezyn is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how your information is used, we will let account holders know by email or in the app.
